Day 1: Holyhead → Four Mile Bridge
32.8 km / 20.4 mi · 435m↑ · 436m↓ · 7h 42m
A big opening day covering the entire Holy Island coastline. From St Cybi's Church the route heads south through the RSPB South Stack reserve with its clifftop seabird colonies and lighthouse views, then past Holyhead Mountain and through a string of rocky coves to Trearddur Bay. After a break at this sandy resort, the path continues past dramatic sea arches at Bwa Du and along low dunes to Four Mile Bridge, where Holy Island reconnects with mainland Anglesey.
