    Anglesey Coastal Path

    Wales · Anglesey
    Hilly

A 209km circuit of the entire Isle of Anglesey following a varied coastline of dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches, dunes, and salt marshes. The trail passes lighthouses, Iron Age hillforts, and tiny fishing harbours, with views across to Snowdonia's peaks. Birdwatching is excellent, particularly at South Stack for puffins and choughs. The terrain is mostly gentle with some rocky headland sections. Coastal villages provide regular refreshment stops, and the route connects well with the mainland via the Menai Strait bridges.
