A 105km circumnavigation of the Isle of Arran, often described as 'Scotland in miniature' for its mix of Highland and Lowland landscapes on a single island. The route follows the coast through raised beaches, rocky shores, forest tracks, and moorland, with views to Ailsa Craig, Kintyre, and the Ayrshire coast. The northern half is wilder, with granite peaks rising above, while the south is gentler farmland. Expect some pathless sections on the west coast requiring careful navigation. Brodick is the main hub with ferry connections to the mainland.
