    Speyside Way

    Scotland · Scottish Highlands
    Rolling

A 150km trail following the River Spey from Buckie on the Moray coast to Aviemore in the Cairngorms, passing through the heart of Scotland's whisky country. The route visits numerous distilleries including Glenfiddich and Cardhu, and passes through birch woodland, heather moorland, and fertile farmland. The terrain is mostly gentle, following riverside paths and old railway lines. Osprey can be spotted at Loch Garten in summer. A relaxed and sociable walk with excellent food and drink along the way.
