    Coast to Coast (Wainwright's)

    England · Northern England
    Challenging

Alfred Wainwright's classic route crossing northern England from St Bees on the Irish Sea to Robin Hood's Bay on the North Sea, now designated as a National Trail. The 295km trail passes through three contrasting national parks — the rugged Lake District fells, the limestone pavements of the Yorkshire Dales, and the heather moorland of the North York Moors. Expect steep climbs, varied terrain from rocky mountain paths to gentle farmland, and charming villages with welcoming pubs.
