A 360km section of the spectacular sentier des douaniers (customs officers' path) following the rugged Breton coastline. The route passes the pink granite coast of Ploumanac'h, wild headlands, sandy coves, and traditional fishing ports. Expect constant undulation along the clifftops, with sections of exposed rocky path and sheltered woodland. Brittany's maritime climate brings mild winters but frequent showers. Crêperies, cider producers, and oyster farms provide excellent refreshment. The trail is well-waymarked and can easily be walked in sections using coastal bus services.
