A 440km trail along the Sudetes Mountains on the Polish-Czech border, from the Lusatian Mountains to the Jeseníky range. The route crosses the Karkonosze (Giant Mountains), the eerie Table Mountains with their flat-topped sandstone formations, and the Kłodzko Valley's spa towns. Expect well-marked paths through mixed forests and alpine meadows, with mountain huts and guesthouses for accommodation. The region has a complex history — formerly German Silesia — with architectural remnants visible throughout. Czech and Polish mountain hut cultures offer hearty food and warm hospitality. Some sections cross the border multiple times.
