A 350km trail along Croatia's Dinaric coast and mountains from Istria to Dubrovnik, combining coastal paths with mountain crossings. The route passes through Plitvice Lakes and Paklenica national parks, crosses the Velebit mountain range, and follows sections of the Dalmatian coast. Expect Mediterranean heat at sea level, cooler mountain terrain, and dramatic transitions between coastal and highland landscapes. The Velebit is home to bears, wolves, and lynx. Accommodation ranges from coastal hotels to mountain huts. The combination of sea and mountains makes this a distinctively varied trail.
