A 127km national trail through the rolling chalk hills of the Yorkshire Wolds from Hessle near Hull to Filey Brigg on the North Sea coast. The route follows quiet dry valleys, passes through ancient woodland, and crosses open arable farmland with wide skies. The Wolds are gently undulating and relatively easy going, making this a peaceful and uncrowded walk. Highlights include the deserted medieval village of Wharram Percy and the dramatic cliff-top finish at Filey. Well-served by small villages and market towns.
