    Thames Path

    England · Southern England
    Rolling

A 296km national trail following the River Thames from its source near Kemble in the Cotswolds through Oxford, Windsor, and central London to the Thames Barrier at Woolwich. The route is almost entirely flat, passing through water meadows, historic towns, riverside pubs, and iconic London landmarks. Expect well-maintained towpaths, lock-keeper's gardens, and a gradual transformation from rural idyll to urban spectacle. An accessible and culturally rich walk with excellent transport links throughout.
