A 160km route through the western Dolomites from Bressanone to Feltre, following a wilder and more demanding line than Alta Via 1. The trail includes via ferrata passages with fixed cables and ladders, exposed ridge traversals, and remote sections between rifugi. Expect scrambling on rocky terrain, possible snow patches into July, and dramatic scenery through the Puez-Odle, Sella, and Pale di San Martino groups. Via ferrata equipment (harness, helmet, via ferrata set) is needed for several sections. A serious mountain trek requiring climbing confidence.
