A 184km ancient bridleway circling the entire island of Menorca, designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The route passes turquoise coves with white sand beaches, rugged limestone cliffs, and prehistoric Talayotic stone monuments unique to the Balearic Islands. Expect coastal walking with constant sea views, Mediterranean scrubland and pine forests, and a landscape that is quieter and less developed than neighbouring Mallorca. Swimming in secluded calas is a daily possibility. Accommodation ranges from rural fincas to town hotels. The trail is mostly flat to gently undulating, making it accessible for most fitness levels.
