A 179km loop around the spectacular Dingle Peninsula with rugged Atlantic coastline, mountain passes, and rich Gaelic culture. The route crosses Connor Pass, follows wild cliff paths above Slea Head, and passes beehive huts, ogham stones, and early Christian sites. Expect exposed coastal walking with dramatic views of the Blasket Islands and Skellig Michael. The town of Dingle provides excellent food, traditional music, and a lively atmosphere. Rainfall is frequent but the landscape is all the more vivid for it.
