Ireland's longest waymarked trail at 215km, circling the Iveragh Peninsula through mountains, lakes, and dramatic Atlantic coastline. The route passes beneath the MacGillycuddy's Reeks — Ireland's highest peaks — through remote valleys, along ancient bog roads, and past ring forts and standing stones. Expect varied terrain from coastal cliff paths to mountain passes, with regular rainfall adding to the lush green landscape. Accommodation in small towns like Cahersiveen and Sneem provides warm hospitality and excellent local food.
