A 110km circuit through the Vanoise National Park — France's first — with views of glaciers, the Grande Casse massif, and abundant wildlife. Ibex are commonly seen on rocky slopes, and marmots whistle from boulder fields. The trail crosses high passes with panoramic views and descends to traditional Savoyard villages. Expect well-maintained paths, comfortable refuges, and a shorter season due to lingering snow. The compact nature of the circuit makes it ideal for a week's walking, with moderate daily distances but significant altitude gain.
