A 160km circuit of the sunny Queyras Regional Park in the southern French Alps, known for having more sunshine hours than almost anywhere in the French mountains. The route passes through traditional stone villages, larch forests, and high alpine meadows rich with wildflowers. Expect well-maintained trails, a mix of refuges and gîtes d'étape, and a quieter atmosphere than busier Alpine circuits. The Queyras is known for its distinctive sundials and traditional mountain architecture. Marmots and chamois are frequently spotted on higher sections.
