A 161km national trail along the Cotswold escarpment from Chipping Campden to Bath, passing through quintessential English countryside of honey-coloured stone villages, ancient woodland, and rolling farmland. The route follows the escarpment edge with panoramic views across the Severn Vale to the Welsh hills. Highlights include Broadway Tower, Belas Knap long barrow, and the descent into Georgian Bath. The terrain is gentle but with regular ascents and descents along the scarp. Well-served by pubs, tearooms, and accommodation throughout.
